HarderPlate

AR Wear Plate for High-Impact Zones

HarderPlate® is a quench and tempered abrasion resistant steel plate available in 400BHN and 500BHN hardness grades. Because the hardness runs through the plate rather than sitting on the surface, it takes impact that would crack a carbide overlay. It pairs directly with RaptorPlate® in applications that see both high impact and high abrasion - the right material in the right zone, without over-engineering either one.

AR Wear Plate for High-Impact Zones
Key Advantages

Two hardness grades for impact-heavy and abrasion-heavy zones. Direct complement to RaptorPlate® in combination wear applications. Stocked in standard sheet sizes for faster turnaround. Used in dipper liners, chute hoppers, TTT blades, and fixed plant applications.

Applications

ERS and HMS dipper liner kits combined with RaptorPlate®, chute and hopper liners, TTT blades, fixed plant wear surfaces, truck bodies, and any application where impact is the primary failure mode rather than pure sliding abrasion.

Material Specifications
Hardness Grades 400BHN and 500BHN
Stocked Sheet Sizes 4' x 8', 5' x 10'
Stocked Thicknesses 0.500", 0.750", 1.00" (additional available)
Type Quench and tempered steel flat plate
Pairing Designed to work in combination with RaptorPlate® CCO
Raptor Fun Facts

Most dipper liner kits run both materials in the same bucket, with the overlay where material slides and the plate where it lands. See wear resistant CCO RaptorPlate®.

Liner kits are laser scanned to the dipper rather than cut to a standard pattern. See ERS and HMS parts.

Yukon Case Study
